Functions of the Society
- Establish standards of professional competence and practice amongst members;
- Protect, assist and educate the Kenyan public in all matters touching, ancillary or incidental to the professions of counselling, psychology and related fields;
- Represent, protect and assist members of the professions of counselling, psychology and related fields in Kenya in respect of conditions of practice and otherwise;
- Promote the international recognition of the Counsellors and Psychologists Board of the Republic of Kenya;
- Advise the Counsellors and Psychologists Board of the Republic of Kenya on matters relating to examination standards and policies.
