Functions of the Society

  1. Establish standards of professional competence and practice amongst members;
  2. Protect, assist and educate the Kenyan public in all matters touching, ancillary or incidental to the professions of counselling, psychology and related fields;
  3. Represent, protect and assist members of the professions of counselling, psychology and related fields in Kenya in respect of conditions of practice and otherwise;
  4. Promote the international recognition of the Counsellors and Psychologists Board of the Republic of Kenya;
  5. Advise the Counsellors and Psychologists Board of the Republic of Kenya on matters relating to examination standards and policies.
