Professor Mumah, S.C.J., is an eminent behavioral scientist, global thought leader, and a transformative academic whose work bridges psychology, innovation, and human development. He is widely recognized for his pioneering contribution to mental health systems strengthening, digital mental health innovation, and the integration of Generative AI into clinical and educational practice across Africa.
A distinguished scholar and mentor, Prof. Mumah is committed to closing the gap between knowledge and action. His academic mission is grounded in improving the lives of the world’s poorest and most vulnerable—through creativity, research, and evidence-based psychological interventions. Dr. Prisca Jepchirchir Tarus, PAST PRESIDENT
Educational, School and Occupational psychologist
Prisca Jepchirchir Tarus works as an Educational Psychologist in Mount Kenya University as an Associate Dean in the school of Education. A PhD fellow at Egerton University, Prisca is an author of several books including Attitudes of Academically Talented Students and Performance. She played a key role in Psychological healing and Peace Building in Kenya’s Rift Valley Region during the 2002/2008 post-election violence. An educational and spiritual mentor in shaping the future of the youth, Prisca is passionate about facilitating human growth and development in achieving one’s own destiny through the gender mainstreaming process.

Ouma, G. A. (Mrs.), SECRETARY
Entrepreneurologist
Grace is an Entrepreneurologist and a public policy analyst having invested the knowledge of psychology gained in her formative years of bachelors and masters degrees programmes in studying entrepreneurs’ and entrepreneurship behaviour. Her research interest is the understanding of how entrepreneurs think and act and thus channels her energy into helping entrepreneurs make profit and grow their businesses. She has been very instrumental in organizations by helping them understand the interface between research and its application thereof through the communication of research findings to policy makers in understandable ways. She functions as an advisor to entrepreneurs in their personal capacity, especially their emotional needs, and also on how to run their businesses effectively.
Dr. Newton Mukholwe Asakhulu, TREASURER

Newton is an Educational Pyschologist based at the school of education, Maasai Mara University in Narok County, Kenya
